Own Prefecture's Food


Natsumi Matsuda
She talked about Nagasaki's food, Chanpon and Castella. Chanpon is originated in Nagasaki. It is well known that many kind of  vegetables are used in it. Castella is very famous food of Nagasaki too. Castella's taste is good so it is popular sweets.
Good point: Natsumi's presentation was easy to understand for me. Her voice was loud.


Maria Iba
She talked about Ushibuka city's food, Bakudan, Akamaki, Kamaboko and Koppamochi. Bakudan is made of boiled egg and steamed fish paste. It looks like bom. Bakudan and Akamai are eaten in celebration. Kamaboko is steamed fish paste. Koppamochi is made from sweet potato and glutinous rice mainly.
Good point: Maria's voice was easy to listen. And she used pictures of food.


Mayumi Oki
She talked about Hyogo's food, Kobe beef and Kobe pudding. They are famous food in Kobe city. They are delisious and expensive. And she intoroduced Mosaic in Harborland. Mosaic is restaurant area and Harborland is large commercial building. There are many restaurants and eating houses in Mosaic.
Good point: Mayumi's presentation was good. It was easy to listen and understand.


Yuri Okumura
She talked about Kumamoto's food, Karashi-renkon and Basashi. Basashi says horse-meat sashimi in English. Basashi and Karashi-renkon are special product in Kumamoto. Karashi-renkon is made of mustard and lotus root. It is originated in Kumamoto and very healthy for us.
Good point: Yuri's presentation was easy to understand. She explained difficult passages.


Ayaka Kondou
She talked about Fukuoka's food, Hakata-ramen. It is used soup of pork belly and bones. It looks white soup. And the noodle is thinner than any other area's ramen. Because thin noodle coutains much soup so it taste is good.
Good point: Ayaka's voice was good to listen.


Momoko Nakashioya
She talked about Fumuoka's food, Nanban ourai, Tourimon and Menbei. They are popular sweets in Fukuoka. Nanban ourai has three kinds of taste, raspberry, blueberry and chestnut. The taste of raspberry is standard and blueberry and chestnut are on sale for a limited season. Tourimon is made of white bean paste. Menbei is Japanede style cookie used mentaiko.
Good point: Momoko's presentation was easy to listen. It was good to show us picture of food.


Hikari Takase
She talked about Miyazaki's food, Chicken-nanban. Chicken-nanban is fried chicken with vinegar and tartar sauce. It is one of representative food of Miyazaki. Fried chicken is flooded in sweetened vinegar thoroughly. And tartar sauce is on it. It is very popular food in Miyazaki.
Good point: Hikari talked in a loud voice and the content was easy to understand.


Natsumi Sakai
She talked about Kumamoto's food, Karashi-renkon. She introduced history of it. It was made in 300 years ago. Gentaku, a Buddhist priest, suggested it for Tadatishi Hosokawa, daimyo of Higo-han. Tadaoki was sickly. But after eat it, he became fine. Karashi-renkon was spreaded the general public in the Meiji era.
Good point: Nastumi researched it in datail. I think the content was good.

Yuria Hamada
I talked about brand-name confectionary of Kumamoto, Musyagaeshi and Jindaiko.
